What is the 'Mission of the Website:
The Website was 'born' of the need to effectively commuicate with those attending Reunion  2004 Las Vegas.  A core group of friends connected by the common experience of being Hawaiian (and Hawaiian at heart), growing up in Hawaii or having an Island Connection.  This group remains the focus of our Website, referred to as the Island Goddess 'Ohana.  We welcome
all Web Surfers to our site.  However, the needs of our 'Ohana determine content. There is no hidden agenda or links to porn.  
Our Message
We are for the fair and equal treatment of TGLB Communities Worldwide.  To that end, we advocate the spreading of Aloha through thought and deed.

New Pages
Specialty pages have been created to meet the growing needs of our audience.  The newest is Aunty Anita's Bay Area Page, created to accomodate her growing role as Ambassador of Aloha in the San Francisco area, keeping the main pages of the site for our 'Ohana.
    
Flyers, Posters, Letters and Comments:
The Newsletter format has evolved to include many areas of interest to our 'Ohana. They are always in good taste and appropriate for a general audience.  Items received with explicit or foul language is subject to editing or rejection (86/ not posted).  Visit the Netiquette Online Website click on Netiquette 101.  You'll find helpful hints for composing postings on the Web.

Archive of Photos
Photos that on these Pages are posted as contributed  by 'Ohana.  They are subject to the same rules of being appropriate to a general audience -no hoochy mama poses.  Multiple images of the same person are also subjest to editing in context to the archive database.  Generally, having more than 3 photos of the same person in the same time line is excessive exposure (with the exception of Reunion photos). There are private Websites if you want to create your own gallery of photos.   

Web Host
Island Goddess Pages is hosted on the Internet by Active-Venture.com.  We are on the Silver Plan, allowing 5 gigabytes of traffic and 300 Megabytes of storage.  Enough traffic/space to accomodate about 5000 visits per month and all the photos & files to keep you entertained and informed.  This costs about $200 per year + software (updates) to get the files uploaded.  Your support is appreciated.
